About Me

Who Am I?

I grew up in Northern California’s wine country, where I discovered two passions early on: soccer and tinkering. From the time I could walk, I was chasing a ball across the field.

When I wasn’t playing soccer or surfing, I was taking apart electronics, experimenting with lights, or trying to figure out how things worked.

By high school, computers became a big part of my life. I taught myself coding, built websites, and even modded cars with custom lighting. Those early experiments shaped the way I think today; combining creativity with technology to design experiences that surprise people.

Sports also had a big influence. Playing soccer taught me rhythm, teamwork, and flow — qualities that show up in my design approach. Surfing added another layer, reinforcing how movement, energy, and environment can work together seamlessly.

Now my focus is on lighting. I specialize in value-engineering lighting systems to match the entire scope of a project. Rather than focusing on just one fixture or element, I look at the whole picture… architectural goals, budgets, and user experience. That perspective allows me to deliver cost-effective, stunning solutions for any environment, whether it’s a global installation, an intimate architectural detail, or a technology-forward fashion piece.

At the heart of it, I’ve always believed light is more than illumination – it’s an experience. My goal is to use technology and design to create those moments people haven’t seen before.

What’s it like working with me?

My goal is to understand what success looks like for you. I’m going to ask a lot of questions to understand you and your project holistically. That’s when I get to work and explore the options and opportunities that lie in front of us.
